I am surprised at the number of requests I get asking me to continue this 'blog'. I know my life isn't that interesting so it must be that weird.
Perhaps I'll do this one in straightforward chronological order.
My brother asked me how many fricking times in my life my birthday has fallen on Friday THE Thirteenth? What with leap year and Sadie Hawkins' Day... I'm not sure. I do remember my 13th on the 13th. I thought it was cool until someone told me about perceived ill luck on that combination of dates. That was the 3rd most horrible school day of my life.
All I know about this year's birthday is that I am so grateful and just tickled pink to be 52.

Yes I know. Two months have passed. If I'm not sick, my life is just totally not interesting.
It has been a blessedly mild winter. We've filled the time with visits from our younguns and house hunting.
House hunting is an incredibly wearying job. Imagine your worst nightmare is stuck in an episode of "Green Acres". And I'm really not kidding.
I am looking for a fancy suburban home with pool and huge privacy fence. Garry is looking at.... well..... can't quite describe what Garry is looking at.
Click on picture below for larger, much more startling image.
That's right family and friends! It is a BUFF-A-LOW farm!
Can you say D-I-V-O-R-C-E? That's what this place means to me!
And the cartoon that is my life continues.

Happy Birthday to MOM! Woo Hoo!!! Good Job Jate Jamma!
If the inspections and banks work out we have a new home. It is not in the 'burbs' with a great pool, playground OR privacy fence. I've won no battles and lost all wars.
Translated into the "Green Acres" episode: "You are my wife. Good Bye City Life!" Except for one peculiar and strange twist. We are moving to Petticoat Junction. If we can figure out a way to get our new above ground cistern turned into a swimming pool... well then life would just be so complete!
Gotta go... arithmetic awaits me!

Here it is at the end of March and I am rushing the planting season again! This time I'm starting double what I usually do because I have TWO homes to 'pretty up'.
Anyone remember a year ago? I sure do. It was about this time when I went out back and started pulling out big hands full of hair and throwing them over the deck. They clumped on tree branches and very soon the birds started carrying away strands to build their nests. It didn't help my mental status but it did give me something to sit and watch.
For the last few days a chickadee has been stalking me. This morning she finally dive bombed me trying to get my hair I guess. So here we are, planning a move to Chickadee Drive and I have a chickadee wanting my hair. Seems kinda prophetic donit?
